A boy in Kashmir has his life turned upside down when his family is massacred in an act of terrorist bombing. In addition to his family, 20 others are killed. A local government official takes the boy home since he now has no other family. The government also provides him with a large sum of money. But this causes an unknown uncle to show up who seems more interested in taking control of the cash than taking care of his nephew. The film provides insight into Kashmiri society and culture.
