Broken Mile is a thriller film directed by Justin McConnell and released in 2016. Accompanied by a cast of uneasy and enigmatic characters, including a jaded detective, a philosophical cab driver and a seductive and unpredictable woman, Sean navigates a nightmarish landscape of sinister back alleys, abandoned buildings and deserted streets.

One of the key themes of the movie is the concept of time, and the way in which the passing of hours and minutes can both impel and constrain our actions. As Sean races against the clock in his search for Lisa, the viewer is very much aware of the weight of time bearing down on him, counting down the minutes he has left to save his girlfriend and escape the danger that is closing in around him.
