Bring Me a Dream is a horror-thriller movie released in 2020. Directed by Chase Smith, this movie stars Martin Kove, Tyler Mane, and Katie Monds in pivotal roles. The movie revolves around the story of Jonas (Tyler Mane), a man with a dark past, who is now leading a normal life with his girlfriend Elsie (Katie Monds). However, Jonas' past creeps into his present when he starts seeing terrifying visions of a dead woman; all at the same time as his pregnant girlfriend starts experiencing nightmares too. As the mystery deepens, they discover a strange box that holds the key to the secrets they have been looking for.

Their curiosity gets the best of them as they open the box and discover that it is a dream catcher - an artifact that can bring dreams to life. Soon enough, they feel the effects of their curiosity as the nightmare that had only been a dream slowly takes shape in their reality. It quickly becomes apparent that their lives are now in grave danger as they come to the realization that the dream catcher must be destroyed before it destroys them.

As they struggle to find a way to destroy the dream catcher, Jonas is forced to confront his past and battle his demons. With dangerous forces at play, the authorities give them little-to-no help as they are forced to fight for their lives. As Jonas and Elsie desperately race against time to stop the dream catcher, they are plunged into a dangerous game of life and death.

Martin Kove stars as the noble Sheriff Murphy, who is investigating the bizarre happenings in the town. He is doubtful of Jonas's innocence and is relentless in his pursuit of the truth. The movie is populated with a host of other colorful characters, including an eccentric shopkeeper and the lunatic responsible for creating the dreamcatcher.

The movie is a slowburner that steadily builds up tension, culminating in a shocking finale. It is a horror-thriller that does not rely on jump scares but rather atmospheres and mood. The dialogues feel real and believable, and the acting is top-notch, particularly by Tyler Mane, who gives a multifaceted performance as the tormented Jonas.

Bring Me a Dream's strengths are in its ability to keep its audience on edge, unsure of what to expect next. The cinematography is superb, with the moody lighting and the eerie soundtrack adding to the overall effect. Everything about the movie feels well-crafted and thought out.

Overall, Bring Me a Dream is a compelling horror movie that is well worth watching. The story is intriguing, the pacing is consistent, and it features some great performances from its cast. If you're a fan of horror-thrillers that blend supernatural and human elements, then Bring Me a Dream is a movie that you should definitely check out.
