Boy, Did I Get a Wrong Number! is a comedic film from 1966, starring the beloved Bob Hope as a famous movie star named Tom Meade. Meanwhile, news of Tom's absence spreads, causing his production team to panic and flooding the town with journalists, paparazzi and fans looking for the missing movie star. Jenny even finds herself being pursued by reporters who believe that she may be hiding him. To make matters worse, Jenny's fiancé, a jealous and hot-tempered musician, returns home early and discovers Tom in their cabin.
Thus, Tom finds himself running for his life, while Jenny and her fiancé deal with a slew of misunderstandings and miscommunication about the nature of Tom's presence in their home. Throughout the film, the comedic antics escalate, as the characters find themselves caught up in a series of hilarious antics and zany situations.
