Bottoms Up is a comedy film from 2006 that tells the story of Owen Peadman, played by Jason Mewes, a young man from a small town who dreams of making it big in Los Angeles. Owen is passionate about mixology, and after winning a local bartender competition, he decides to try his luck in LA and heads out to pursue his dreams. Once in the city, Owen quickly finds out that LA is not what he expected, and he struggles to find a job as a bartender. After a series of failed attempts, Owen meets Lisa Mancini, played by Paris Hilton, a wealthy and beautiful heiress who is about to open a new club, the Luxe. Lisa is impressed by Owen's mixing skills and hires him as the club's bartender.
While Owen is thrilled about his new job, he soon finds out that the Luxe is not what it seems. The club is a front for a notorious gangster named Mr. Lipschitz, played by David Keith, who uses the club to launder money. Owen becomes increasingly uncomfortable with the situation and decides to try and find a way out.
At the same time, Owen starts falling for Lisa, who appears to reciprocate his feelings. However, Owen is not the only one interested in Lisa. Her ex-boyfriend, Grant, played by Brian Hallisay, is still in love with her and will do anything to win her back.
As the opening night of the Luxe approaches, Owen realizes that he's in over his head. He must find a way to thwart Mr. Lipschitz's plans while keeping Lisa safe from harm. At the same time, he must navigate his complicated feelings for Lisa and deal with Grant's interference.
