Bloodworx is a sci-fi horror film from 2012 that explores the consequences of playing God. The movie is directed by Eric Wostenberg and stars Travis Van Winkle, John Bregar, and Tricia Helfer. The story follows two brothers, Travis (Van Winkle) and Trey (Bregar), who are desperate to save their dying father. In their quest for a cure, they seek the help of a brilliant scientist named Dr. Cohen (Helfer), who has been working on a revolutionary new treatment.

Dr. Cohen agrees to help the brothers and introduces them to her team of scientists, who have been experimenting with a mysterious substance known as "Bloodworx." This substance has the potential to cure any disease and even reverse the aging process, but it comes at a deadly cost.

The brothers soon discover that the Bloodworx treatment requires human blood as a catalyst, and the more blood that's used, the more powerful the treatment becomes. Desperate to save their father, Travis and Trey agree to help Dr. Cohen in her experiments, but they soon realize they've made a terrible mistake.

As the experiments progress, the brothers and the rest of the team start to experience strange side effects. They become stronger, faster, and more aggressive, but they also begin to lose their humanity. One by one, they succumb to their primal instincts and turn on each other.

Dr. Cohen becomes obsessed with the power of Bloodworx and begins to use it to engineer a new kind of human. She creates a monstrous creature that's both incredibly strong and highly intelligent. But this new creature has a mind of its own and begins to wreak havoc on the lab and everyone in it.

The brothers realize they must stop Dr. Cohen and destroy the Bloodworx before it's too late. They face off against their mutated colleagues and the monster created by Dr. Cohen in a final showdown that will determine the fate of the entire human race.

Bloodworx is a classic sci-fi horror film that explores the consequences of playing God. The movie is filled with tense moments, jump scares, and plenty of gore. It's a cautionary tale that reminds us of the dangers of tampering with things we don't fully understand. If you're a fan of classic horror films with a sci-fi twist, then Bloodworx is definitely worth a watch.
