Katheryn Winnick's character, Sarah, is a survivor who escaped from the quarantine zone. She proves to be a valuable ally to Trayhern and McReady, despite her initial reluctance to trust them.

The movie is set in a small town in the middle of nowhere, which only adds to the claustrophobic feeling of the story. The town is in chaos due to the outbreak, with people running around wild, shooting guns, and setting things on fire. The filmmakers do an excellent job of creating a sense of unrest and unease throughout the movie.
