Bharghavacharitham Moonnam Khandam is a 2006 Malayalam-language action drama film directed by Jomon and starring Mammootty, Sreenivasan, Padmapriya, and Kaniha in lead roles. He discovers that Bhargavi was about to expose a scam involving the village panchayat and the local MLA, who had been using government funds to construct a temple on private land. In an attempt to silence Bhargavi, they had framed Unni for her murder.

Mammootty delivers a powerful performance as Unni Poonkavanam, portraying the character with the right mix of toughness and vulnerability.
