This Indian Hindi musical drama movie premiered in theaters in 1996. The movie follows the life of Ragini, a young woman who has a beautiful voice. She is also very pretty, pious and well off. Her only drawback is that she is blind. Ragini's parents are anxious to get her married. When her parents tragically perish as they go looking for a husband for their daughter, Ragini is left to fend for her own self. A suitor named Rajan Swamy appears, who seems to love and cherish her. However this sudden romance appears to good to be true.
