Rita, desperate for money to treat her daughter's leukemia, finds herself in Russia as a surrogate mother. Her situation goes from bad to worse when the couple who were paying for the child die in a car accident. After falling into and escaping the criminal underworld she and her daughter move to Jordan where the Bedouins offer alternative cancer treatments.
