Be Still and Know is a touching and emotional drama film of 2019 about the power of friendship and family in difficult times. It was directed by Brittany Goodwin and written by Brittany Goodwin and Andrea M. Polnaszek. The story is primarily focused on two best friends, Hannah (Olivia Arokiasamy) and Brooklyn (Kelly Bartram), who have been inseparable since their childhood. Together, they go on a weekend camping trip to a remote beach with six of their other closest friends to have a break from their busy and stressful lives. As soon as they reach there, they are ecstatic to enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings and spend a fun time together.

But things quickly take an unexpected turn when they realize that a mysterious, deadly virus has broken out and the government has issued a statewide quarantine. The news gets even worse when they find out that one of their campmates has been infected with the virus.

Fear, panic, and chaos grip them as they are cut off from the outside world without any means of communication or help. To make matters worse, they soon discover that their food and water supply are low, and they have no idea when they will be rescued, if at all.

As they deal with the harsh realities of their situation, Hannah and Brooklyn become the pillars of support for their group of friends. They devise a plan to ration their food and conserve their resources, while trying to keep up the group's morale.

Throughout the film, the story follows the journey of the group as they navigate their way through this challenging and life-altering experience. The film explores their individual relationships, fears, and struggles, and how they come together to confront and overcome their shared obstacles.

The performances of the lead actors, Olivia Arokiasamy and Kelly Bartram, are believable, relatable, and heartfelt. Their chemistry and camaraderie as best friends are impressive and make the audience root for their survival.

Brianna Booker, who plays one of the campmates, delivers a remarkable performance showcasing vulnerability, fear, and strength. The supporting cast of Christian Brunetti, Michael Ruiz, and others also play their part well.

The film is shot beautifully, with breathtaking aerial shots of the beach and surrounding forest as a backdrop to the story. The scenic views are juxtaposed with the haunting themes of isolation, mortality, and fear, which adds to the overall impact of the film.

The background score, composed by Heath McNease, complements the scenes and enhances the overall mood of the movie. The music adds depth to the emotions and feelings of the characters, making the audience feel like they are on the journey with them.

Be Still and Know is a film that will leave a lasting impact on the audience, reminding them of the importance of human relationships, love, and hope. The story is a poignant reminder that even in the direst of situations, friendship and family can provide us with the strength to overcome our darkest fears.
