Be-Shaque is a classic dramatic thriller from 1981, directed by Kashinath and starring Mithun Chakraborty, Amrish Puri, and Sonia Sahni. The movie is set against the backdrop of the Mumbai underworld and revolves around the story of a young man, Ravi Kumar, who is falsely implicated in a murder and has to fight against all odds to prove his innocence.

Ravi Kumar, played by Mithun Chakraborty, is a simple and hardworking young man who lives with his widowed mother in a small apartment in Mumbai. He is employed in a small workshop and dreams of making it big in life. However, his life takes a drastic turn when he is falsely accused of murdering his employer's wife, Mrs. Gupta. Ravi is arrested and taken to court, where he is denied bail and is sent to jail to await trial.

Despite being innocent, Ravi is forced to undergo a lot of torture and harassment in jail. He is beaten up by the other inmates and is treated like a criminal. His mother, unable to bear the trauma, suffers a heart attack and dies. Ravi is shattered by his mother's death and resolves to fight for justice and prove his innocence.

Enter Keshav, a wealthy businessman who has a score to settle with Ravi. Keshav is played by Amrish Puri, who delivers a powerful performance as the cunning and evil antagonist. Keshav was Mrs. Gupta's lover and had conspired with her to frame Ravi for the murder. He uses his wealth and influence to manipulate the police and the judiciary to ensure that Ravi gets a harsh sentence.

However, Ravi finds an unlikely ally in the form of Inspector Verma, played by Iftekhar. Inspector Verma is a no-nonsense police officer who is convinced of Ravi's innocence and is willing to go the extra mile to help him. Together, Ravi and Inspector Verma start investigating the case and uncover some startling facts. They come across new evidence that points towards Keshav's involvement in the murder and decide to confront him.

The rest of the movie is a tense and gripping battle between Ravi and Keshav, as they engage in a deadly game of cat and mouse. Ravi is determined to prove his innocence and bring Keshav to justice, while Keshav is equally determined to ensure that Ravi remains behind bars. The climax of the movie is filled with action and suspense, as the two men face off in a final showdown.
