Battle of the Year is a 2013 American B-boy dance film that follows a group of misfit dancers on their journey to win an international breakdancing competition known as the Battle of the Year. Their journey takes them across America, from Las Vegas to New Orleans, as they perfect their moves and performance. Jason quickly discovers that the team needs more than just their natural talent to succeed; they need a sense of unity and brotherhood to become a real team.

As the team prepares for their performance, they receive news that the Korean team, who have won the Battle of the Year for the past decade, have created a new routine that has blown everyone away.
