Watch Bangers

Bangers is an Australian short film from 1999. Julie-Anne is a moderately competent career woman who has decided to prepare a meal for her curmudgeon of a mother. As she mashes the potatoes and prepares the sausages, she monologues about her mother, her cat, and the recent upgrade in her status at work. As her rant continues, it becomes obvious that Julie-Anne is about to break down, reaching a crescendo of burnt sausages and a floor laden with mashed potatoes.

Bangers was also released as one of the short films in the 2005 cinematic anthology piece "Stories of Lost Souls."
