This stunningly fascinating motion picture tells the heroic tale of a father who desires nothing more in life than for his son to grow up happy and healthy. Set in the turbulent Taliban controlled region of Afghanistan, the film follows the story of a school teacher and his asthmatic son. The school teacher is a hard working man who desires to leave the constantly violent and bewildered region he lives in. He is desperate for himself and his son to leave their increasingly violent state, and head for the democratic country of Australia. The ability to witness his son grow up in a place where he can be free, is all the teacher seeks in life.
