Awaken is a compilation of the dream world mixed with the quest to find true love. It centers on protagonist, Alex, who is living a lackluster life day to day. Alex soon meets a woman, Rachel, a woman who sparks his interest. After their chance meeting, Alex searches for the woman in hopes of continuing a budding relationship. To his surprise, Rachel has died before they can meet again.

Upon learning of her death, Alex becomes intertwined in a dream realm where Rachel appears with him and actual reality where he embarks on a quest to discover who Rachel was before she died.
