Attagasam is an action-packed drama directed by Saran and produced by S. S. Chakravarthy. The movie features Ajith Kumar in a dual role alongside Pooja Umashankar and Sujatha. Jeeva finds a job at a factory and starts working there. However, he soon realizes that the factory is involved in illegal activities and decides to bring the culprits to justice.
During this time, Jeeva also falls in love with Katy. However, his happiness is short-lived as he is framed for a crime he did not commit. He is sent to jail but escapes with the help of Anthony. He then decides to take revenge on those who framed him and also wants to find out who is behind the big scam.
Jeeva adopts a new identity, that of Shiva, a fearless and powerful man. He sets out to seek revenge against those who wronged him. But he has a personal motive as well - he wants to save his mother (Sujatha) who has been kidnapped by the same people. Katy also joins him in his quest for justice.
The rest of the movie is all about how Jeeva aka Shiva fights the bad guys and brings them to justice. The climax is action-packed and full of twists and turns.
Attagasam is a movie that is high on action and drama. Ajith Kumar delivers an excellent performance in a dual role. Pooja Umashankar plays her role perfectly and shares good chemistry with Ajith. The supporting cast including Ramesh Khanna and Sujatha also deliver solid performances.
