Iconic comic character Asterix is brought to life in this animated comedy that sees Asterix fighting to defeat the Romans and restore local Druid Getafix to his normal self. Asterix accidentally hits Getafix on the head and causes him to foget who he is and how to brew the magic potion that gives the Gauls their fantastic strength. As the Romans approach the village a soothsayer arrives claiming to be able to drive off the attackers, Asterix and Vitalstatistix must try to restore the memory of Getafix before the Romans attack the village.
