Arctic Heart is a 2016 French romantic drama film directed by Xavier Legrand, starring Charlotte Le Bon, Guillaume Canet, and Anne Le Ny. Meanwhile, Jacques' son Thomas, played by Damien Chapelle, is back in France and struggling to come to terms with the death of his mother. He also has a strained relationship with his father and feels abandoned. Thomas becomes fixated on uncovering the truth behind his mother's death, which leads him down a dangerous path.

The three storylines converge in the final act of the film, as Jacques, Louisa, and Thomas find themselves facing their fears and dealing with the past. The Arctic becomes a metaphor for the emotional landscape that the characters must navigate, as they try to find a way forward.
