Aranya Rodan is about the story of a woman named Kalyani, who is a journalist that is currently investigating the rape and murder case of a tribal woman that has been murdered by a policeman who resides in Orissa. Kalyani decides to adopt the dead woman's child, which instantly gets her involved with the life of the tribal women, even though her own life has its fair share of problems.
