The American Apollo space program's seventh manned mission, Apollo Thirteen was launched on April 11, 1970. In Florida from the Kennedy Space Station, it is destined to land on the Moon. After an oxygen tank explodes, the mission has to be aborted. Which occurs only two days after being launched into orbit. Some of the challenges in which the crew face are, the loss of heat inside of the cabin, a shortage of potable water and a decrease in power. As well as a need to repair the carbon dioxide removal system.
