Watch Antonieta

Antonieta is a drama. This film is based on a novel by Andrés Henestrosa. It details the journey French psychologist Anna takes to unravel a suicide. She is researching suicides by famous women and becomes fascinated with the one committed by Antonieta Rivas Mercado, a Mexican writer and social activist. Anna travels south to uncover the truth and enters into a world of political unrest. However, this turmoil doesn't appear the reason behind her subjects desire for early death.
