Anthropoid is a thrilling World War II drama that follows Operation Anthropoid, a mission carried out by two Czechoslovakian soldiers to assassinate SS General Reinhard Heydrich, the main architect behind the Final Solution and one of the key leaders of the Nazi regime. The movie is set in 1941, when Czechoslovakia is under Nazi occupation. Jan Kubis (Jamie Dornan) and Jozef Gabcik (Cillian Murphy) are two parachutists who are sent from London to Czechoslovakia to carry out the assassination.
