Anna is a beautiful young lady who suffers from shyness, something that she feels has plagued her for the better part of her life. She has several close friends around her but has always been too shy to open up to or even look for a man. Recently she has convinced herself that a doctor she has been visiting has fallen in love with her. The only problem with her thinking this way is the fact that he in fact has no emotional attachment to her whatsoever. After he is forced to reveal this to Anna, she goes into a deep depression that will eventually turn violent.
