Paramaguru (Ajith) is a very fine gentleman who always wishes to become one of the country's finest IPS officers. He prepares very hard to achieve his goal. His only dream is to clean the streets of India from crime, mayhem and murder. He always aspires to become the most honest, hard working and commanding IPS officers in India whose name will terrorize the terrorists affecting the peace and harmony of the country.
Paramaguru's (Ajith) dream comes true when he is selected to become an IPS officer. This particular honor introduced great pride, joy and satisfaction in the life of the newly selected IPS officer. He begins to count his days for his new post of an Assistant Commissioner of Police.
In the mean time Paramaguru meets with Divya (Meera Jasmine) and falls in love with her instantly. Both of them begin seeing each other frequently and are drawn closer with each and every passing day.
Paramaguru is unable to maintain his silence against justice. He cannot tolerate injustice and crime in any form. Hence, he decides to confront the local rowdy vettu Ramasamy and prevent him from committing any further nuisance. He thrashes Ramasamy severely. This particular act of Paramaguru threats his awaiting post of an assistant commissioner of Police.
Paramaguru is not afraid to justify his demeanor and explains the authority the reason behind his act. The authority is convinced and gives back Pramaguru his most awaited post of an assistant commissioner. Thus, Paramaguru succeeds to become an assistant police commissioner despite all odds.
After becoming an assistant police commissioner Paramaguru confronts the greatest power of the city, Jaiprakash. This tycoon always has the policemen and the politicians under his control. The arrival of Paramaguru in the city makes Jaiprakash full of rage and his wishes for the immediate transfer of Paramaguru.
