Anjaan is a 2014 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by N. Lingusamy and produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur under the banner of UTV Motion Pictures. The film features Suriya, Vidyut Jammwal and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in lead roles along with Manoj Bajpayee, Rajpal Yadav and Dalip Tahil in supporting roles. The story of Anjaan revolves around Raju Bhai (Suriya) who is a dreaded gangster in Mumbai. He leads a luxurious life and is feared by everyone in the city. However, he has a soft spot for his friend Chandu (Vidyut Jammwal) who is his right-hand man in all his illegal business. Raju Bhai's girlfriend Jeeva (Samantha Ruth Prabhu) is a bubbly girl who is unaware of his illegal activities. She believes that Raju Bhai is a successful businessman.
Things take a turn when Chandu's sister gets kidnapped by a rival gang. Raju Bhai decides to rescue her and launches a full-scale attack on the rival gang. However, during the rescue operation, Chandu gets severely injured and loses his memory. He is then taken care of by the kind-hearted doctor Lakshmi (Manoj Bajpayee) who later on helps him regain his memory. As Chandu starts getting his memory back, he realizes that he has a past that he doesn't remember.
Meanwhile, Raju Bhai and his gang are facing a new threat from a dreaded don named Imran Bhai (Dalip Tahil). Imran Bhai is determined to end Raju Bhai's reign in Mumbai and take over the city. Raju Bhai decides to take on Imran Bhai and the two gangs engage in a violent war.
