Anasuya is a 2007 Telugu film directed by Ravi Babu starring Bhoomika Chawla, Ravi Babu, and Abbas in the lead roles. The film tells the story of Anasuya (Bhoomika), a mute and deaf girl who lives with her grandmother in a small village. Her father had died when she was young, and her mother remarried and left the village. Anasuya is a happy-go-lucky girl who loves to dance and play. Her grandmother is her only source of communication and affection. One day, a group of gangsters comes to the village and starts troubling the villagers. They try to extort money from the poor villagers and create a sense of fear in the village.

Anasuya, being an innocent and naive girl, is unaware of the danger that lurks around her. She continues to dance and play, ignorant of the unfolding events. One day, she is kidnapped by the gangsters who mistake her for a wealthy businessman's daughter. They plan to demand a huge ransom from the businessman.

The rest of the story revolves around Anasuya's escape from the clutches of the gangsters and her fight for justice. Ravi (Ravi Babu), a journalist, helps Anasuya in her quest for justice. He is initially skeptical about Anasuya's abilities but later realizes her strength and determination.

Abbas plays the role of the gangster's leader who is ruthless and cunning. He is determined to get his hands on the ransom money and will do anything to achieve his goal. Anasuya's grandmother is played by Hema, who provides the much-needed emotional support to Anasuya.

The film is a heart-warming tale of a girl's fight against all odds. It showcases the power of determination and willpower. Bhoomika delivers a stellar performance as the mute and deaf Anasuya. She emotes through her eyes and body language and is a treat to watch on screen.

Ravi Babu, who also directed the film, has done a fine job in portraying the plight of the villagers and the powerlessness of the law enforcement agencies. The film has some beautiful songs composed by M.M Keeravani that add to the overall experience.

Anasuya is a must-watch for those who love emotional dramas with a touch of action. The film is a reminder that even the weakest among us can become the strongest if we have the will and determination to fight. The film is a testament to the human spirit and a celebration of life.
