Anak Jantan (The Son) is a Malaysian drama film that tells the story of two brothers, Khairul (Farid Kamil) and Bazli (Pekin Ibrahim), who have different personalities and dreams in life. Khairul is a boxer who dreams of becoming a champion, while Bazli is a college student who wants to be a lawyer. The movie opens with Khairul being released from prison after serving time for a crime he did not commit. His brother Bazli, who has always believed in Khairul's innocence, picks him up from prison and takes him home. However, things are not the same for Khairul as he struggles to adjust to life outside of prison.

Khairul's world is turned upside down when he discovers that his wife, Nasha (Nora Danish), is pregnant, and he is not the father of the child. His wife's infidelity drives him to the edge, and he ends up getting into fights with her lover. In the midst of all this chaos, Khairul finds solace in boxing and decides to train for a boxing match.

The relationship between the brothers is strained, with Bazli feeling that Khairul is not doing enough to change his life. Bazli, on the other hand, is dealing with his own problems, as he falls in love with a girl named Alya (Rozita Che Wan), who is the sister of one of his classmates. Bazli's college studies also suffer, and he starts to skip classes to spend time with Alya.

As the story progresses, the brothers' paths cross again when Khairul's boxing coach, a former champion boxer played by Datuk Jalaluddin Hassan, offers to train Bazli for a boxing match. Bazli initially declines but eventually agrees to train with his brother.

The movie reaches its climax when Bazli is chosen to represent his college in a boxing match against a rival college. The match is a significant event, as the winner gets a sponsorship from a prominent boxing company. This is a crucial opportunity for both brothers to turn their lives around.

Anak Jantan is a story of brotherhood, redemption, and the pursuit of dreams. The movie portrays the challenges faced by young adults trying to find their way in life and the importance of family support in times of crisis.

The acting performances in the movie are strong, with Farid Kamil delivering a convincing portrayal of a boxer struggling to overcome his past mistakes. Nora Danish also shines in her role as Khairul's troubled wife, while Pekin Ibrahim brings depth to his character as the college student dealing with the pressures of school and love.

The cinematography in the movie is visually pleasing, with scenes shot in various locations in Malaysia, including Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi Island. The boxing scenes are also well choreographed and add intensity to the film.

Overall, Anak Jantan is a well-made movie that balances drama and action effectively. The movie's central message about perseverance and the importance of family support is inspiring and relatable to audiences of all ages.
