'An Honest Liar' is a feature documentary by Tyler Meason and Justin Weinstein on the life, mysteries, and magic of famous magician and performer James "The Amazing" Randi. The filmmakers carried out a successful Kickstarter campaign back in early 2013, and the film made festival circuits internationally in 2014, winning several awards including the Best Audience Award for Best Feature at AFI Docs Festival. The documentary follows James Randi's career performing magic as well as debunking dangerous people who claimed to be psychic healers by tricking believers. The film opens in New York on March 6 followed by nationwide release.
