The film is set in a small village in Tamil Nadu where strange events begin to happen when a group of archaeologists start digging in the area. The villagers soon realize that the creature is not just an ordinary monster but a being from outer space. The creature, named Ambuli, has been sent to Earth as an experiment by an advanced alien civilization.

As the plot thickens, the scientists discover that Ambuli is not alone and that there are more creatures like it on Earth. The plot twists and turns, with the protagonists fighting against both the aliens and the Indian government, who want to capture and study the creatures for their own purposes.

The visuals in Ambuli are impressive, with stunning 3D special effects that bring the creatures to life. The movie is a blend of science fiction, horror, and action, with the story keeping the audience on the edge of their seats until the very end.

Gokulnath, Parthiban Radhakrishnan, and Srijith P.S. all give convincing performances, with the latter two actors portraying the two scientists studying the creature. The film also features an impressive supporting cast, including Jegan, Ajai Kumar, and Uma Riyaz Khan.
