Her mortal peril necessitates a call to the police so it's the Keystone Kops to the rescue. A wet time is had by all. "Ambrose" was the character name for a long series of Keystone comedies the towering comedian Mack Swain starred in, though he's probably best remembered today as a supporting player frequently seen intimidating Charlie Chaplin's "Little Tramp," most famously in THE GOLD RUSH.
