Allegiance of Powers is a 2016 action-packed superhero film directed by Michael Crum. The movie centers around a group of gifted individuals with unique abilities who join forces to fight against a common enemy. The film boasts an impressive cast consisting of Robert Cavazos, Ariah Davis, and Jason Dilworth. The story begins with a group of people who have all been given special abilities as a result of a mysterious event known as "The Pulse." The main character, John Vattic (played by Robert Cavazos) is an ex-soldier who has the ability to move objects with his mind. He is soon approached by a government agent, Maxx (played by Michael Crum), who recruits him to join a team of other super-powered individuals to take down a dangerous terrorist organization known as The Vanguard.

The team includes other characters such as the beautiful and deadly assassin, Kara (played by Ariah Davis), who has the power of invisibility; the fiery and seductive Pyro (played by Sarah Self), who can control fire; and the enigmatic and powerful leader, The Creator (played by Jason Dilworth), who possesses an array of superhuman abilities.

As the team works together to stop The Vanguard, they must also navigate their own personal conflicts and differences. There are moments of tension and distrust among the group, as they struggle to work together and trust one another.

The action sequences in Allegiance of Powers are intense and well-choreographed. From John Vattic's telekinetic powers lifting and smashing objects, to Pyro unleashing her fire on enemies, to Kara's stealthy assassinations, the film delivers plenty of thrilling superhero moments. The fight scenes are well-executed, with each character showcasing their unique abilities in impressive ways.

The special effects in the movie are also noteworthy, as they effectively bring each character's powers to life on screen. The cinematography is also solid, with some of the shots and angles adding to the overall excitement of the movie.

The film's pacing is generally good, with the action sequences interspersed with moments of character development and plot exposition. While there are some minor lulls in the story, they do not detract from the overall enjoyment of the film.

Allegiance of Powers also delves into some deeper themes, such as the consequences of having superhuman abilities and the danger of government agencies exercising too much control over those with those powers. The movie raises questions about the morality of using one's powers for personal gain versus fighting for the greater good. These themes add a layer of complexity to the movie that elevates it beyond your typical superhero action flick.

In terms of performances, the majority of the cast delivers solid performances. Robert Cavazos does a good job as the lead, John Vattic, bringing a stoic intensity to the role. Ariah Davis is excellent as the mysterious and deadly Kara, conveying both strength and vulnerability in her portrayal. Jason Dilworth delivers a memorable performance as The Creator, delivering some of the film's most memorable lines and set pieces.

One of the film's few flaws is its villain, The Vanguard. While they serve as a formidable foe for the heroes to battle against, they are not particularly well-developed or interesting as characters. This lack of character depth and motivation makes them less compelling as villains than they could have been.

Overall, Allegiance of Powers is a solid superhero film that delivers plenty of action and excitement. While it may not break new ground in the genre, it is a well-executed and enjoyable movie that will satisfy fans of superhero films. The film's impressive cast, well-choreographed action, and deeper themes make it a standout entry in the genre.
