The characters are a mixed bag. While they are all fairly likable, they are not particularly well-developed. The only character with a clear backstory is Jake, who has a personal connection to the asylum. The other characters are given little depth beyond their basic personalities and motivations. However, the actors all do a good job with the material they are given, and there are some fun interactions between the characters.
