He provides an excellent portrayal of a soldier who is willing to put himself and his team in danger to achieve his goals.

The movie's special effects and visuals are impressive, especially given its relatively low budget. The Alien race is well designed, with a strong visual impact that gives them a sense of purpose and menace.
