Set in the gorgeous wilderness of Alaska, the 2012 film AlaskaLand tells the story of siblings Chukwuma (Alex Ubokudom) and Chidinma (Chioma Dunkley), who have recently lost both of their parents. Struggling to handle their grief and adjust to their new lives living with their aunt and uncle in Alaska, the pair turn to their love of the arts - Chukwuma through photography and Chidinma through music - to cope.

As a photographer, Chukwuma is constantly exploring the stunning landscape of Alaska, capturing images of the wild animals, rugged terrain, and stunning natural beauty around him. But when he meets the sophisticated and ambitious Adele (Leland B. Martin), he begins to see the world in a new way, and his photography takes on a whole new level of depth and meaning.
