Aladdin and the King of Thieves is a 1996 animated movie that is the third installment in the Aladdin franchise. The movie is based on the Arabian Nights tale 'Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves.' The plot of the movie revolves around Aladdin and Jasmine's wedding preparations. They are excited to start their new life together, but Aladdin's past comes back to haunt him when the infamous King of Thieves tries to steal a valuable metal staff from the palace.

It is soon revealed that the King of Thieves is actually Cassim, Aladdin's long-lost father who had abandoned him when he was just a child. Cassim had become a notorious thief and was now seeking the staff to locate the Hand of Midas, a powerful artifact that could turn anything into gold.

Aladdin is overjoyed to be reunited with his father and is eager to help him find the Hand of Midas. However, things take a turn for the worse when the evil sorcerer, Sa'luk, joins the fray. Sa'luk is also after the Hand of Midas and will stop at nothing to get it.

Together, Aladdin and Cassim embark on a dangerous journey to find the Hand of Midas while Jasmine and the Genie stay behind at the palace to fend off Sa'luk and his gang of thieves. Along the way, Aladdin learns some valuable lessons about family, trust, and the importance of being true to oneself.

It is filled with action, humor, and heartwarming moments that will make you laugh and leave you feeling good. The animation is top-notch and the voice acting is superb, with veteran Disney actors Val Bettin, Jim Cummings, and Gilbert Gottfried reprising their roles as the Sultan, Razoul, and Iago respectively.

Linda Larkin also returns as Jasmine, bringing the same spunk and spirit that made her character so lovable in the previous movies. The new characters, Cassim and Sa'luk, are also well-developed and add depth to the story.

One of the highlights of the movie is the music. The movie features several catchy and memorable songs, including 'Out of Thin Air,' 'Welcome to the Forty Thieves,' and 'Are You In or Out?' The music is a perfect blend of Eastern and Western influences, creating a unique and captivating sound that sets the tone for the entire movie.
