Akhil is a 2015 Indian Telugu-language fantasy action film starring debutant Akhil Akkineni and Sayyeshaa Saigal in the lead roles. Directed by V. V. Vinayak, the movie is jointly produced by actor Nithiin and his father Sudhakar Reddy under Sresht Movies banner. The movie begins with a young Akhil being abandoned by his father who had lost all his money in gambling. Akhil is then taken in by a charitable trust where he is raised by a group of orphans. In Bangkok, Akhil meets Divya (Sayyeshaa Saigal), a girl he falls in love with at first sight. However, Divya is unaware of the book's power and accidentally uses it to revive her grandfather, who had been in a coma for many years. The sudden revival of her grandfather attracts the attention of a dangerous criminal named KK (Rajendra Prasad) who wants the magical book at any cost.

As the story progresses, Akhil and Divya team up to protect the book from KK and his goons. With the help of Akhil's foster siblings and a bunch of interesting characters they meet along the way, they embark on a thrilling adventure filled with twists and turns.
