Anmol and Sunita are happily married. Sadly, Sunita has a heart problem. She has a choice to undergo a dangerous operation or only have a few more years to live. If she gets pregnant, her condition could worsen. She wants to adopt Bhavana, an orphan, but Anmol wants her condition to improve so they can have children of their own. Anmol is bothered by Bhavana's immature behavior, but goes after her when she runs away from home.
