Most women who live well into adulthood become mothers at some point, but there are some who never do. Eighteen women discuss their lives and what led to their not becoming mothers. Some of them never wanted to have children, while others were prevented from it due to finances, health, lack of a romantic partner or other factors. Taking a look at these women helps to normalize other women who do not have children.
