A place in the Land is the story of Frederick Billings, Laurance S. Rockefeller, and George Perkins Marsh - who were leaders of the conservation movement in America. This movie tells the story of their struggle to preserve the natural environment and teach man to live in harmony with nature. The film spotlights the Marsh Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park which was the first of its kind devoted to teaching land stewardship and wildlife preservation.
