Watch A Matador's Mistress

A Matador's Mistress is a biopic that was released in theaters in 2009 starring Adrien Brody and Penélope Cruz. In the 1930s Manolete, played by Brody, was the best bullfighter in Spain. When he meets with actress Lupe Sino, played by Cruz, his life was never the same again. When the media heard about the couple in the early 1940s, a scandal broke out based on Sino's political history and his views as a communist. The couple stayed together through the scandal until 1947 when Manolete was killed after a bullfighting accident at the age of 30.
