A Guy Thing is a 2003 romantic comedy starring Jason Lee, Julia Stiles, and Selma Blair. The film follows Paul, played by Lee, who is about to get married to Karen, played by Blair. However, things take a turn for the worse when Paul wakes up after his bachelor party with Becky, played by Stiles, in his bed. Paul is immediately smitten with Becky, but tries to keep his feelings in check as he is still engaged to Karen. However, as he spends more time with Becky, he realizes that she is the one he truly wants to be with. Complicating matters is the fact that Becky is Karen's cousin, and Paul's attempts to hide his infidelity only make things worse.

As the secrets and lies pile up, Paul must navigate the complicated web of relationships with Becky, Karen, and his best friend Pete, played by Thomas Lennon. Along the way, he learns important lessons about love and honesty, and must decide what he truly wants in life.

The film is full of hilarious moments, from Paul's ill-fated attempts to hide his relationship with Becky from Karen, to his disastrous attempts to bond with her family. Lee delivers a standout performance as Paul, showcasing his comedic timing and vulnerability in equal measure. Stiles is also excellent as Becky, bringing a warmth and charisma to the character that makes it easy to see why Paul is so taken with her.

Blair, too, delivers a strong performance as Karen, the jilted bride-to-be. Her portrayal of the betrayed fiancee is nuanced and sympathetic, adding depth to a character that could have easily been relegated to a one-dimensional stereotype.

The supporting cast is also strong, with Lennon stealing scenes as Paul's wacky best friend Pete. Jenna Elfman and David Koechner also stand out as Becky's eccentric roommates, providing some of the film's most memorable moments.

Overall, A Guy Thing is a charming and hilarious romantic comedy that will leave audiences laughing and rooting for Paul and Becky. While it may not break new ground in terms of plot or themes, the film is buoyed by its talented cast and sharp writing. Anyone looking for a feel-good movie with plenty of laughs should definitely check out A Guy Thing.
