As the holiday season approaches, an ambitious young woman named Jessie (Arielle Kebbel) decides to challenge herself to finally settle down with a man before Christmas. Determined to prove her meddling family wrong about her being single all the time, she concocts a plan to have a love affair to last through the holiday. Convincing Aiden (Andrew W. Walker), a cocky young Vail ski-instructor, to pretend to be her boyfriend is a match made in heaven- until it becomes something more.

Aiden is initially hesitant about the idea when Jessie proposes it to him, having just got out of a relationship not too long ago. But she manages to talk him into the deal, promising him that he'll earn a lot of money as a reward.
