Watch 8000 Miles

8000 Miles follows a group of rappers from the suburbs who are trying to carve out their own place in the rap world. As the friends set their sights on becoming famous the reality of rap music in Japan ends up putting unique hurdles in their way. From unruly crowds to the public insults that get thrown at them, nothing can make them take their eyes off of the prize. While most of this film uses goofy jokes to help tell the story, the film also aims to shine light on the type of discrimination that Japanese rappers can face.
