80 Blocks From Tiffany's is a 1979 documentary filmed in New York City. It is about the street gangs that live in the South Bronx area. Most of the film deals with two specific gangs, one Puerto Rican and the other African American. It explores the daily life of the members and the reasons behind them joining the street gangs. High unemployment, drug use, prostitution and alcoholism are all shown to be problems rampant in the area at the time it was filmed.
