7 Naatkal is an Indian Tamil language thriller film released in 2017 directed by Gautham VR, starring M.S. Bhaskar, Chinnijayanth, Nassar, in prominent roles. The plot follows the story of a woman named Thamizh, played by Anisha Ambrose, who is on a quest to find her missing husband, Kathir played by Prabhu. Her search leads her to a series of mysterious events and leads her down dangerous and unexpected paths.
The movie is set in Chennai, where Thamizh and Kathir lead their happy life until one day, Kathir fails to return home from work. Thamizh tries to contact him, but he does not answer his phone, and after several attempts, she files a missing complaint with the police.

Meanwhile, Thamizh receives several calls from an unknown person threatening her to stop looking for her husband. She decides to take matters into her own hands and launches her own investigation.
During her search, Thamizh meets a cab driver named Kumaran, played by Chinnijayanth, who agrees to help her. Together they find out that Kathir has been kidnapped and discover a connection between the kidnappers and a few influential politicians in the city.
The movie is high on suspense and delivers a nail-biting climax. The performance by the lead cast is exceptional, with Anisha Ambrose delivering an excellent performance as a woman in distress, and Chinnijayanth playing the role of a helpful cab driver with great conviction.
