6 Plots is a 2012 Australian thriller film directed by Leigh Sheehan. The movie stars Andrew Clarke, Alice Darling, and Ryan Corr in lead roles. The storyline follows a group of six high school friends who set out to camp in the bush outside of town over the weekend. However, the trip doesn't go according to plan as they realize they aren't alone in the wilderness.

The film opens with each of the six friends receiving a mysterious text message inviting them to an exclusive party. The group gets together, and we see the dynamics of their group as they head out for their camping trip. The friend group consists of JT (Clarke), the popular jock; Katie (Darling), his girlfriend; Craig (Corr), the nerd; Olivia (Penelope Mitchell), the shy one; Tyler (Joel Hogan), the stoner; and Stacey (Eliza Taylor), the fashionista.

As they set up camp, the group begins to realize that they're not alone. They start hearing strange noises and seeing odd things around them. Little do they know that they are being watched by a couple of people from a distance who have devious plans for them. Soon enough, the friends find themselves trapped in a series of deadly games, where they must solve puzzles and riddles to save their lives.

The movie starts with a slow burn, establishing each character and showing the audience their relationships with one another. It isn't until the friends get to their campsite that things start to get exciting. The villain behind the deathly game takes on eerie yet impressive antics that are impactful and suspenseful. The sequences establish the horror scene phenomenally and really leave a mark on the viewer.

As the night wears on, the group starts to get picked off one by one, and it becomes clear that they are all somehow connected to each other in a twisted way. The movie keeps you guessing as to the identity of the perpetrator and the motive behind the gruesome game. The final reveal is satisfying and will leave the viewer questioning the story's moral impact and the diabolical nature of the game.

One thing that stands out in the movie is the cinematography. The scenes are shot in a way that makes the audience feel like they're right there in the woods with the characters. The lighting, framing, and angles all work together to create a real sense of tension and unease as the friends realize their dire situation.

Another aspect of the movie that is impressive is the acting. Each of the main actors delivers a strong performance that helps the audience get invested in their characters' survival. Andrew Clarke, especially, delivers a strong performance as JT, the alpha male of the group. His character arc is thrilling as he moves from being the confident and intimidating jock to realizing that he doesn't have all the answers and needs his friends' help.

Overall, 6 Plots is a well-executed thriller that keeps the audience hooked until the end. The movie's pacing is steady and builds suspense slowly, leading to an exciting and satisfying finale that ties everything together nicely. The acting, cinematography, and storyline are all strong, making this a movie that is worth watching.

6 Plots is a 2016 horror movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 27 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 3.7.
