This film tells the tale of a family that had to escape their home country for fear of persecution and death. The story of the movie revolves around a family from the small country of Armenia. They are forced to escape Armenia thanks to a violent genocide that has been ravaging the population. They end up moving to and settling in France. Once there, the children go to French schools and eventually grow up to be successful. The son has grown to become a successful playwright in France and is desperate to show off his wealth and success to his parents. However, after a tragic event, the son finds himself searching for his true identity.
