30 Days of Night: Dark Days is a 2010 horror movie directed by Ben Ketai, based on the comic book series 30 Days of Night by Steve Niles and Ben Templesmith. The movie is a sequel to the 2007 film 30 Days of Night, and features a different cast of actors. The main character in the movie is Stella Oleson, played by Kiele Sanchez. Oleson is a survivor of the vampire attack on the town of Barrow, Alaska in the first movie. She has become a vampire hunter and is on a mission to avenge her husband's death at the hands of the vampires.

Oleson travels to Los Angeles to speak at a conference about her experience with the vampires. However, her motives for attending the conference are not what they seem. Oleson is hoping to attract the attention of a group of vampires who are hiding out in the city. She wants to infiltrate their group and kill them all, in order to prevent another vampire attack like the one that destroyed her hometown.

Along the way, Oleson meets a group of vampire hunters who are also in Los Angeles to track down the same group of vampires. The hunters include Paul (played by Rhys Coiro), Todd (played by Harold Perrineau), and Amber (played by Diora Baird). They team up with Oleson and begin their mission to find and eliminate the vampire threat.

The movie features plenty of action and suspense as the hunters encounter a variety of challenges and obstacles in their quest to destroy the vampires. They are forced to deal with internal conflict and betrayal, as well as the dangerous, bloodthirsty vampires themselves.

One of the highlights of the movie is the creative use of weaponry by the hunters. In addition to traditional weapons like guns and knives, they improvise many unique and deadly tools to aid them in their fight against the undead.

Another strong point of the movie is the atmosphere and setting. Los Angeles is a stark contrast to the snowy, isolated town of Barrow from the first movie. The setting provides a fresh backdrop for the story, and the filmmakers use it to great effect.

The acting in the movie is solid, with each actor providing a convincing performance. Kiele Sanchez is particularly strong in her role as Stella Oleson. She portrays a strong-willed and determined character who is willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish her mission.

The special effects in the movie are also impressive, with realistic and gruesome depictions of the vampires' attacks and transformations. The filmmakers use a mix of practical effects and CGI to create an immersive and terrifying world.

Overall, 30 Days of Night: Dark Days is a satisfying sequel to the original movie. It successfully builds on the mythology of the first movie while providing a new and exciting story. The action, suspense, and horror elements are well-balanced, and the strong performances by the cast keep the audience engaged throughout the movie.

30 Days of Night: Dark Days is a 2010 horror movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 32 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 4.4.
