3 & 3: Guilty Hearts is a collection of six short films about people burdened by the past and seeking love. One story follows a romantic relationship in a concentration camp. In another, a novelist struggles after his wife leaves him. A third presents a woman from a cursed family: her relatives all die at 58. Charlie Sheen plays a spelling bee commentator. Kathy Bates plays a judge. Julie Delpy plays a woman who is contemplating suicide. Tying the pieces together is a central theme: the characters must purge themselves of guilt before they can move forward with their lives.
